Privacy Policy

• We do not collect your recovery phrase.
• We do not collect your private keys.
• We do not require an account.
• We do not require your name, email, phone number, or identity verification to use the wallet.
• We do not sell personal information.
• We do not provide advertising tracking.

The following information may be stored locally on your device as part of normal wallet operation:

• Wallet names
• Wallet settings
• Address labels
• Transaction notes, if you choose to add them
• App lock and privacy settings
• Recovery phrase and private key material stored locally using device security mechanisms

Bitcoin transactions and addresses are public on the Bitcoin blockchain. When the app synchronizes wallet data, Bitcoin addresses or public wallet data may be queried through blockchain backend services such as Electrum servers or block explorer APIs, depending on the app configuration.

The app may interact with third-party services including:

• Blockchain backend providers for wallet synchronization
• Price data providers for fiat display, if enabled
• Apple App Store and Apple system services
• Email services when you contact support at support@emberwallet.app

These services operate under their own privacy policies. We do not control how third parties process data outside of what is necessary for app functionality.

We do not use third-party advertising analytics or tracking. If crash reporting is added in the future, crash reports would not intentionally include recovery phrases or private keys.

Camera: Used to scan Bitcoin addresses and Bitcoin payment QR codes when you choose to use this feature.

Clipboard: Used only when you tap paste or copy actions within the app.

Apple may process information related to your download, purchase history, device, and App Store account under Apple's own privacy policies.

Most wallet data is stored locally on your device. Deleting the app may delete local app data depending on iOS behavior and your device backups.

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.
