Terms of Use
By using Ember Bitcoin Wallet, you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully before using the app.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Ember Bitcoin Wallet, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Self-Custody Wallet
Ember is a non-custodial Bitcoin wallet. You control your recovery phrase, private keys, addresses, transactions, and backups.
3. No Custody
We do not hold, control, recover, freeze, reverse, or access your Bitcoin. Ember Bitcoin Wallet cannot restore lost funds or reverse transactions on your behalf.
4. No Trading or Investment Services
Ember does not provide trading, brokerage, exchange, staking, lending, investment advice, or financial advice. The app is a wallet tool for self-custody Bitcoin management only.
5. Recovery Phrase Responsibility
You are solely responsible for securely backing up your recovery phrase. If you lose it, we cannot recover your wallet or your Bitcoin.
6. Transactions Are Irreversible
Bitcoin transactions are irreversible once broadcast to the network. You are responsible for verifying recipients, amounts, and network fees before confirming a transaction.
7. Network Fees
Bitcoin network fees are paid to miners and network participants, not to Ember Bitcoin Wallet. Fee estimates are provided for convenience and may vary from actual network conditions.
8. Third-Party Services
The app may use third-party blockchain or price data services. Availability, accuracy, and timeliness of such services are not guaranteed.
9. Open-Source Components
The app may include open-source software subject to their respective licenses. See our Open-source Licenses page for more information.
10. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the app in violation of applicable laws or regulations. You are responsible for your use of Bitcoin and compliance with laws in your jurisdiction.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ember Bitcoin Wallet shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of Bitcoin, data, or profits arising from your use of the app, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
13. Changes to Terms
